plumbergine

Plumbergine is a particular set of shades of purple sitting between Plum and Aubergine (eggplant). The name was said to have been coined by designers to avoid having to refer to colors as plums or using the word Aubergine/eggplant which is associated with emojis used for sexual references.

The new website uses tones of plumbergine for the background.

Eric referred to the purple colours chosen by the designer and said he liked Dirk's plums. This led to hysterical laughter from the team.
