An addiction to listening to music or music in general. This term is usually used to describe the behavioral acts of a person that listens to music for more than 10 hours a day.

Can occur as a way to aid in depression or Schizophrenia. A way to distract your mind and but it in a different area for a while.

Musicolism is a addiction usually found in teens and young adults.
Mom: Honey, can you ever take out your headphones and talk to your family?
Child: No mom. I am addicted to music.
Mom: So have musicolism.
Child: Yup
