holler hop

Similar to bar hopping, holler hopping is the act of getting together with friends at night, hopping in a vehicle(s), then driving around the back roads of Appalachia while on methamphetamine. Usually involves searching for UFOs, aliens, or other paranormal/cryptozoological entities.

Me, Johnny, and Hector went out holler hoppin' last night in the Caravelle and caught a glimpse of that alien down Piney Fork.

Crib Hop

A genre of music, usually 70-90 BPM liked by teenagers with no taste in music. This music is played at sweet 16's where all the little kiddies form a circle in the middle of the dancefloor and grind on eachother at 70 BPM. ie. Lil Wayne or Mims

That new Crib Hop song is so hot I fingered Jessica at her Sweet 16 while her mother was eating dessert.

Song Hopping

verb/noun: The act of changing a song after listening to a short part of it. More commonly when multiple people are listening to the music and one person can't decide which song to play and switches to another song before the current song ends ends.

Song #1 for about 20 seconds...
Song #2 for about 20 seconds...

thrift-hopping

Visiting the thrift shops in an area one after another. A mix between "thrift shop," "shopping," and "hop." Does not necessitate actually buying anything, but describes the action of serially going to thrift shops.

Person 1: "I just went thrift-hopping yesterday and picked up some awesome shirts!"

Person 2: "Really? You should take me with you next time!"
