Truman syndrome: an under-diagnosed psych disorder that usually affects delusional pricks. The affected male actually believes he is living out his life as the star of an intricate reality show centered around himself.

Dawson won't mess around or even talk if his girlfriend's dead smartphone or laptop in the room; because of his delusional Truman Syndrome he is convinced his every move is being recorded.

Truman

A Truman is a guy who lives by the Truman code, follows the F-A-D principles: F=Fathom, A=Astute, D=Deduce - amongst others. He is loyal, honest, caring, loving and respective but has a hard bite towards anybody who shows any form of disrespect. It's a code that gentlemen and OG's alike from the old days, used quite a lot and some today still follow the codes of conduct of a Truman. Truman originally means a man who is true and pure in his nature, doesn't lie even when the truth hurts or is brutal but honour, respect and understanding form the basis of his personality. Can be humorous and witty too. Rare guys who truly understand the world and people around them. He is everything a "REAL man" should be, no matter their sexuality, gender specifics or walks of life. Sometimes females will live by this code too but not as common although it's rare in anybody these days.

It's not something you would commonly or typically use in a sentence, it is more a title to describe his personality but a truly understanding person might say "He's a real Truman, He fights with valour and honour to protect what is right."
