A Brilliant, funny show which has sadly since become mainstream, like all of FOX's new "shows". The general concensus of regular simpsons fans agree that it became this sometime around the 2001-2002 season(season 12). Occasionally, there is a standout episode, however.

The Simpsons was easily the funniest thing on TV until Family Guy came out.

Originating in the Yonge and Eglinton area of Toronto Canada. It Is the act of getting very high on Percocet and drunk off Smirnoff Ice or Coors Light. It entails calling everyone around you a “cunt” while feverishly scratching there neck, face, and penis due to the Percocet high. A small penis accompanies this disorder along with mild confusion and retardation. The Simpsons

A great animated sitcom premiering in late 1989 as a spin off from The Tracy Ullman Show, it is still in production, shown on Network Ten, Australia twice or more a day and shown on FOX in the USA, a movie based on the series will be released in 2007. The show is about Homer Simpson and his family's misadventures in there fictional misfit city Springfield. The actors who voice multiple characters are brilliant, also Phil Hartman who voiced Troy McClure and Lionel Hutz sadly wrote out of the show due to Hartman's homicide.
