revamping

Re-reading any one of the books in the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn) to better understand the stories, find facts one missed after one's first or previous reads, and/or to simply experience the amazing book(s) again.

I'm revamping on "Twilight" because there are so many inside jokes and hidden facts that I didn't really understand before.

recompression

Getting back "into the swing of things". The opposite of decompression, i.e. mellowing out.

Man, after decompressing for two smoke filled weeks in Amsterdam coffee houses, I went back to fucking work this morning. As soon as I punched the fucking clock the recompression set in. Shoulda done a wake and bake !
