When you have a problem with a male who you interact with similar to oil and vinegar. You just don't mix with mindsets, ideals, morals, etc. They are beyond annoying and most of the time you ignore them hoping they will find someone else to bother and just poof be gone.

a word used by antis and gatekeepers in fandom in relation to characters or pairings/ships that they personally do not like. often used as an excuse to attack and gaslight shippers and fans who do like the character/ship.

sometimes the excuse for calling a fictional thing "problematic" is that it's abusive, incestuous, or has a large age gap. or one of them is a villain. or two characters are enemies (or they used to be). or or none of these at all. the excuses are numerous, and many of them unfounded assertions.

Anti: "You shouldn't ship Reylo, it's problematic because Kylo Ren is a fascist and Rey is child-coded and they are cousins."
Shipper: "Uh...what?"
