Everskies has a complex community. There is a plethora of controversy and drama surrounding its developer, Parrot, including the exploitation of minors and their personal data. The bulk of the community are made up of brainwashed young teenagers who have spent too much time reading gender & race discourse on the internet. There are regular arguments in forums around things like this, as well as heated debates around race, trans rights & pronouns, and other sensitive subjects. As a result, there have been several "scandals" where multiple users were banned, and in special cases, even former moderators were forced to resign and leave the community after light-hearted "dark humor" from the ES discord came to light. The only salvageable part of forums is the mature section, which is intended for the use of 18+ users. However, underages users often sneak into the mature section and end up getting banned.
