Beerker

A drinking game known only to the most courageous of alcoholics. Beerker combines the two greatest things known to man, beer and poker, into one spectacular event. In the first round, a player can wager up to three drinks and must guess a card. To win the bet, the player's guess must be within three cards of the actual card value. If the player wins the bet, he/she chooses one opponent to consume the wagered number of drinks. If the player loses the bet, however, everyone else points and yells “Beerker!” in a demeaning manner. With each passing round the card range in which a player’s guess can be correct becomes smaller, while the minimum number of drinks increases. These round-by-round changes decrease the player's probability of a correct guess, but increase the probability of alcohol poisoning. The game ends with the infamous bonus round, in which players can wager anything humanly possible.

Player 1: "I wager 8 drinks and cutting my wrists vertically! I guess the card will be a 5!"

Everyone else: "Beerker!"

Berserkeley

Common nickname given to the city of Berkeley, California, poking fun at the perception that it is a place of extreme social activism (especially for causes that do not get nationalwide recognition), liberalism, and having an aging hippy population.

Person A: I can't believe that homeless man had a sign up that read 'Please spare change for pot!'.

Person B: Well this is Berserkeley after all.

An anime and manga about a guy with a massive sword that he uses to literally maim most of the evil population. Includes some quality outtakes in the DVDs.

the berzerker

An Australian band that produces a genre of music that bridges industrial and death metal. It is known for the incredibly fast beats that it produces, but this is done very clearly on drum machines for the recording of their actual albums. Despite this, all of the drummers for live performances have been able to produce these speeds themselves. They were also once known for the masks they used to wear for their performances, but they are no longer used.

Three albums have been released by The Berzerker:
"The Berzerker" (2000)
"Dissimulate" (2002)
"World of Lies" (2005)

A DVD was also released in 2004, called "The Principles and Practices of the Berzerker" containing over 4 hours of footage, including the making of the masks, the recording of their first two albums and full interviews with bandmembers.

Australian industrial grindcore band. The band of 4 wears creepy masks and plays at blistering speeds. Influenced by such bands as Napalm Death and Carcass. The blending of Industrial and Grindcore creates a genre known as Cybergrind. Their songs deal with the negative side of human nature.

Some song titles: Cannibal Right, Massacre, Burnt, Slit Down, Deform, Forever, Pure Hatred, Pain.

The Berzerker eats pieces of shit like Slipknot for breakfast.
