apathy wash

When kitchen implements are not unloaded from the dishwasher because one isn't entirely certain where they are stored, and instead are left in for another cycle until someone else (wife/girlfriend) can put them away.

Wife: Honey, why did all the measuring cups and the slotted spoons go through the dishwasher again?

Husband (aloud): Oh those? Well they still looked a little dirty so I ran them through again. . .

Husband (thinking bubble): . . . and I have no friggin' clue where you put them so I just apathy washed them all.

akathisia

Literally, inability to remain motionless. A side effect of certain psychiatric drugs that can be a mild sense of disquiet or anxiety (which may be easily overlooked) to a total inability to sit still, accompanied by overwhelming anxiety, malaise, and severe dysphoria (manifesting as an almost indescribable sense of terror and doom). - wikipedia
Often accompanied by dyskinesia, or tremor.

Contrary to the other definition, it IS treatable.

I had akathisia BAD for a little while, it totally sucks. But it was all a matter of adjusting to my meds and working through the pain. Distract yourself, supplements such as vitamin B6 and vitamin E are effective as are pharmaceuticals including benzodiazapines and the antihistamine cyproheptadine. Talk to your psychiatrist if you get it, the solution could be as simple as lowering your dose or adding treatment.

An apathetist is someone who instead of believing in the existence or non-existence of God, simply chooses not to give a flying rat's arse on the subject. They are freed from the delusion of religion; freed from the smugness of atheism; and freed from the indecision of agnosticism.

In a conversation about God, they will be the person who nods politely, then listens to their iPod until the conversation is over.

Religious: "Praise the Lord!! I live and breathe for Jesus!!"
Atheist: "I am just a bunch of chemicals whose life has absolutely no meaning. But dammit I won't rest until everyone else feels the same way!"
Agnostic: "There's no proof either way. Oh look there's a nice fence I'll go sit on!"
Apathetist: "Meh."
