A nazi camp where the hold you hostage for 8 hours, in Gurnee, Illinois. The teachers are terrible. Half of them don't give a shit about your life and say,"Fight the Pain!" Most of my friends are white because half of this school is whites only. Rest are just Mexicans, African Americandls, and Asian. The kids at this school are assholes. They treat people with disrespect and have the IQ of 50-75. The kids here don't want to learn. They just like talking back to teachers because they think they are "cool." I advise parents not to enroll their child into this hellhole because it gets bad in the middle of the year.

1. I'm not blond haired and blue eyed, and neither is at least 60% of the girls her.
2. We are not all stoned, all the time. Just because we have money doesn't mean we use drugs, although some do.
3. We have amazing achievements academically, people need to stop saying otherwise.
4. Most teenagers do not have brand new BMWs like some think, just because our parents do doesn't mean they will waste it on us.
5. Car accidents and deaths are NOT the norm, and it is very sad when that occurs.
6. Very few families own two houses. Once again, JUST BECAUSE WE HAVE MONEY DOESN'T MEAN WE JUST THROW IT AROUND WITHOUT EVEN CONSIDERING IT!!!!!!
7. People don't always cheat on there boyfriend/girlfriend and spread rumors and secrets.
8. Most high schoolers are fairly nice and hard working.
Those are just a few responses to the many people who hate the woodlands for no reason. I actually do want to leave this place once I graduate high school, but I don't hate it like people who don't know what they are talking about seem to.

Get the The Worland Effect mug.A town in Passaic County, New Jersey. A fairly middle class suburb located next to Paterson and Little Falls. Used to be called West Paterson but changed the name along with Elmwood Park, because of the bad reputation that Paterson's name carries. Overall, it is one of the best towns in Passaic County to live in along with Little Falls, Pompton Lakes, or Ringwood as there is absolutely no crime rate and it is not ghetto at all. Unfortunately, the bad of Paterson eventually spills into other towns, and it has hit Woodland Park, as the area near Glover Avenue is full of more ghetto wannabes and people with more financial troubles.
The school system is amazing and there is much to do in this town. Garrett Mountain is a great place to visit if you live in the area and there are many safe parks that are well lit after sunset. New high schoolers move onto Passaic Valley Regional High School. Most students from this town, especially after 2016 are starting to go to surrounding schools such as PCTI which is Wayne or prep/private schools. This is because of PCTI becoming increasingly popular and PVHS lessening in students because of the influx of ghetto kids that move into the bad parts of Totowa.
