Someone got ahold of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince before it was supposed to be released to the public and scanned pages 596, 597, and 606 to prove that Snape killed Dumbledore. The pictures spread like wildfire and ruined many Harry Potter fan's lives.
Video: Someone videotaped(poorly I might add) himself driving past a crowded bookstore at 1am and shouting "Snape kills Dumbledore!" at all the Harry Potter fans outside, ruining the story for them.

He is also the head of the great Slytherin House. Severus saves Harrys life over and over again and never gets any thanks for it. He only even loved one woman, Lily Evans Potter (Harrys mom) which is why he protected Harry for so long.
He also must play a role as Voldemort's favourite Death Eater so that he can spy on them for Albus Dumbledore (Headmaster of Hogwarts). In the sixth book Dumbledore asks Severus to kill him since he is dying anyway and he doesn't want Draco Malfoy to have to do it. Severus does it selflessly and is labeled a murderer and a traitor by all the Hogwarts people.
He is sexy and intelligent and a snarky bastard. He is also an only child. Liz C. said that Bellatrix LeStrange and Narcissa Malfoy were his sisters. THIS IS WRONG. They are not related at all they are only his acquaintances.
In the end it is Severus Snape who gives Harry a memory Dumbledore told him to. He was never a bad person, he was forced to play two roles and always wear a mask. He only did what he had to to win the war. And he did what he was told by Dumbledore, the only man who ever showed him any mercy.

In book 6, he became the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, and in the 7th, became the Headmaster and got killed by Lord Voldemort's snake, Nagini. To this day, no one knows if his portrait resides in the Headmaster's room, but seeing as how he was a one, most guess yes. He at first had a goatee in the book's illustrations, but since portrayed by Alan Rickman, he apparently shaved it off. He has many fangirls (me included), but I am one of the sane ones, people. He is also extremely hot. And yes I had to say that.
Severus Snape is extremely smart and handsome. He loves Lily Evans, who marries James Potter instead, and turned over to the good side the moment Voldemort threatened her. I love him, but I know that it will never happen.
