An often anarcho-socialist person with dreadlocks, usually somewhat anti-capitalist.
They fight for nature, the climate and for freedom. Can be found in towns dominated by Anthroposophical farmers/schools/healthcare/people etc.
Not to be confused with hippies/treehuggers. Hippies are all about peace and love and free weed; Scruffys are all about individual freedom and mutual aid, protests tend to become more violent too as they do everything in their power to refuse and reject authorities.

A Scruffy McGruffy is a dog that has a partially messy hairdo and doesn’t seem to have a care in the world. They are laid back for the most part, but deep down, they would do anything to protect you.

Scruffy Kinslow is the best cat to ever have existed. He is fat, cute, cuddly, clingy, and a very good boy who loves beef jerky. He smells like saltine crackers. He was found on the side of a highway. He is an old man and a baby inside a fat cat's body.
