To be Omtzigted: A Dutch saying meaning that no matter how many people like you, the ones who dislike you will have the most impact.

Pieter Omtzigt is a Dutch politician that was at the forefront of the Dutch child benefit scandal. His efforts caused him to be loved by a significant amount of people, although not all might have voted for him. However, the party he was in did not like him very much, and he was slowly being pushed away while the majority of the people seemed to like him.
