Newb

The term Newb started being used in US Navy, by sailors in the Seabees (CBs) rate during World War II. Seabees would call new Seabees NewBees. Navy Veterans like M.E. and others started calling new players on SoCom Newbees, later it was shorted to Newb.

a way or slagging off a beginner at computer games such as counter strike and other online games. The different ways of spelling this is newb, n00b, noob, newbish,n00bish and so for. When experienced players are defeated, this is the slag they use so that they make themselves look good :D
