mainstream

A person (or more commonly persons) which follow the common/accepted/most seemingly popular trend. The trends are normally labeled, causing a divide of those who conform and do not conform (non-conformists) until the non-conformists become the common trend, creating a cycle.

Today's common mainstream trends are labeled as 'emo' (Many of these titles are misused). The older term for the jumping of trends is 'Fashionista or Fashionister'

Mainstream rap

Almost all mainstream rap sucks. It is easy to discover mainstream rap as all you have to do is turn on your T.V. or radio and you're bound to be fed that crap. More people should listen to Blackalicious, The Roots, Jurassic 5, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Common, Lyrics Born etc...

Mainstream fan: Yo... u hear that joint from 50 Cent and Akon man? That shit on MTV is hot!!!

Real Hop Fan: I don't even have the time to argue but mainstream rap is awful.

mainstream music

music that is over-played and shouldnt be referred to as music, but ear piercing shit made by computers in a studio for a popular singer to buy and put shitty lyrics such as "babyy babyy babyy oh!!" or "take a dirty picture of me" over the top to make it sound even "better". then to be fed to the world on a radio station for every one to get sick of, then another loser makes a "better" song and thus the cycle starts again.

bill- "hey joe, do you for any chance listen to mainstream music?"

joe- "hell no you fucking whore, i hate that overplayed bullshit, its like someones shitting in my ears"

Maastricht Syndrome

The Maastricht Sydrome descibes a lasting, location-dependent sexual low which is supposedly caused by external factors such as stress, work overload, lack of potential sex buddies or other turn-off forces linked to the environment. The Maastricht Sydrome is named after a town in Limburg in the Netherlands where it has been experienced by generations of students. Sexual frustration is generally associated with the Maastricht Syndrome.

I only started studying here 3 weeks ago and one can already detect first symptoms of the Maastricht Syndrome!

Don´t worry it´s not about you, it´s the Maastricht Syndrome. Try your luck somewhere else.

The good thing about the Maastricht Syndrome is that I don´t suffer from sexually tranmitted infections!
