A feeling of peace and nostalgia, seperate from a place or person that resides within the self. Often times a scent/smell (ie. Baked goods), a sound (ie. father whistling) or a physical sensation (ie. cat fur).

My grandmother just knit me a super homely scarf which I will wear only for its amusment factor. Also my neck will appreciate its total dedication to warmth.
