Turning a bland, accidental, or unfortunate situation into one, that is in your favor. Essentially finessing in all it's good, and bad forms.
To quote the originator of the term, Jefe REPLAY in the sentence - "Jefe might walk on the crowd / you know I make proper finessements"

To always have the upper hand, one will only finesse when they know the outcome. That they win. one will not know they have been finessed until after the act and money has been exchanged or deals placed.
damn josh finessed me out of $1100 when we placed a bet on if the pot was In the sink, not knowing he saw it in the mirror beforehand. "damn i got finessed by josh..fuck".
