Used to cause fear or emphasize scariness and ugliness in certain situations/people.

Dating for a short time, just for the sake of hooking up.

A mixture of hooking up and dating.

There is also a dance called the chookup dance:
Shake your hair/head in a quick motion and say "HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY, sad."

*Short time meaning a week or less.*

Sonja: "Are you guys dating now?"
