Apostrophet

Derived from the pop-cultural lexicon, during the 21st century, "Apostrophet" functions as a linguistic marker denoting the conclusion of a statement or argument. Notably utilized due to its rarity yet undeniable truth, this term ascends metaphorically and literally beyond conventional punctuation, surpassing the customary period ("."). Additionally, it paints an image of a literally ascending punctuation mark, at the top of a word.

It is most commonly used by Teenage Singaporean Art-School kids. Founder of the word is remained anonymous but is known of.

The main difference between a straight and a curly apostrophe is that a curly apostrophe curves towards the text, and a straight apostrophe is just a short vertical line placed slightly above the letters it’s inserted between.
