They currently have released four albums, "Sounding the Seventh Trumpet" (2001), "Waking the Fallen" (2003), "City of Evil" (2005) and "Avenged Sevenfold" (2007) while also having released a live DVD and B-side CD package named "Live in the LBC & Diamonds in the Rough" (2008).

M. Shadows (Matthew Sanders) - Vocals
Synyster Gates (Brian Haner Jr.) - Lead Guitar
Zacky Vengeance (Zachary Baker) - Rhythm Guitar
Johnny Christ (Jonathon Seward) - Bass
Founding member and drummer, The Reverend Tholomew Plauge (James "Jimmy" Sullivan) recently passed away on December 28th 2009 and has yet not been replaced. His death appears to have been due to natural causes.
Other former members include Matt Wendt, Justin Sane and Dameon Ash (all bassists).
Avenged Sevenfold has a vast fan-base, spanning the whole globe and are notorious known for their symbol, the Deathbat. In addition, both Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance have clothing lines, Syn Gate clothing and Vengeance University respectively.
A7X are in the process of recording their fifth album and with the help of Mike Portnoy, they have been able to create the vision that the Rev would have wanted. This album should hopefully be released later in 2010/early 2011.
