Suburban-trauma

Trauma occurring in blatantly suburban things, ex: drunk parent at soccer practice. Often further developed by gaslighting because it’s not gang violence or it “could be worse.” Commonly in relation with parents, substance abuse, and the legal system. Additionally kids are often in denial or extremely defensive when someone brings up how that thing or event wasn’t normal.

A: “Remember that time dad drunk drove to your soccer game and got into a screaming match with grandma?”
B: “Yeah we’ve got that suburban-trauma…”

Suburbs

Any smaller town that lies outside of the main city, of the county its in, in rap "suburbs" is usually used to refer to rich, safe and/or white neighborhoods even if it's in the city limits, similarly to how "inner city" and "urban" refer to poor, dangerous and/or minority neighborhoods even if it's nowhere near the city

Compton, Inglewood, Tukwila and Miami Gardens are suburbs - dangerous, poor and barely have any white people
Boise and Salt Lake City are inner city and urban - safe, rich and very white

Suburbia warrior

A person that usually works to manicure suburb house lawns using the tools of the trade ( lawnmowers, trimmers, etc.(the weapons)) sometimes, but not always, during weekends. Many times, but again, not always, being armed with a chest cooler full of ice and beer for the sake of hydration replenishment while at work. The verb form would be known as suburbia warriorating

Well, I better get back to the house to be a suburbia warrior today before it starts to rain.
Verb..I'll be at home today suburbia warriorating, so I won't be able to go downtown.

Suburban Dictionary

Having the same meaning as "glossary", this term refers to a special kind of dictionary containing terms specific to a particular field such as technology, medicine, or moviemaking. This term is derived from the combination between the prefix "sub-" (as in "subreddit", "subpost", "subtopic", "subchapter", "submenu") and "Urban Dictionary".

When researching game development terms, I found the Suburban Dictionary to be a treasure trove of jargon and a glossary of terms in industry-specific language.

Orange Suburban

A mutha fuckin BEAST of a truck that was once known for its daily appearence in its surroundings, but know is scarcely seen. It has seating for six but many more can be crammed in for a Taco Bell run, rust can be seen falling off at anytime and the beacon on the top is frequently drawing attention to it.

The orange suburban was seen around town creating a stir.

Sickly-Suburban

A definite noticeable differene between crowds of people gathered in the suburbs cmpared to crowds of people gathered in the city.

Person 1: Dude, did you get a good look at the crowed last night?
Person 2: Yeah dude, for sure..! You could tell we weren't down town last night cuz the crowed was TOTALLY "Sickly-Suburban"
