A POV TikTok originally posted in February 2022 by Chris Barnett featuring his brother asking their dad for new shoes. Chris makes the same request, stating he has a hole in his shoes. For God-knows what reason, the specific line "I have a hole in my shoes" became a meme four years later in January 2026.
Brother: Hey dad, can I have some new shoes?
Dad: Of course, buddy.
Chris: I have a hole in my shoes.
