phrase beginning smokers say to their parents (and rarely, children, spouses, or siblings, and very rarely, grandchildren) when they are told it's unhealthy for them and such people tell them not to continue

Mother: "You've been smoking, haven't you? I can smell it on your clothes even when you tried to cover it up."
Daughter (angry and embarassed): "Mother! There's so much stress in my life, so I need to smoke, okay?! Daddy keeps putting on that shitty rap channel and it stresses me out, so smoking will calm it down".
Mother: "Watch your mouth there, young lady. Don't let that bother you. He's just teasing you and you know it. And, you won't smoke anymore or he'll hear about it".
Daughter: "I won't smoke at home, okay? I'll just do it outside the home, and I'll cover it up when I'm done. No one here will suspect a thing."
Mother: "You won't do it anywhere! You're done with it now!"

Stressel

A stressel is a vessel into which you can deposit or relieve yourself of stress.

This could often be a person, for example a friend or confidante, who absorbs your stress when they listen to you go on and on about work or something.

Alternatively a stressel could be a literal vessel, such as the pint of beer you eventually drop that guy's mobile into after it's been ringing incessantly for the last half an hour. Try it. It's fun.

I'm pissed off with just being your stressel, bruce. I have my own problems too.(Possible neighbours usage)

"Who's been using the bird-bath as a stressel again?" Said Giles as he fished yet another cowbell out. (Possible Emmerdale usage)

"Pass me that stressel, I need to be sick." (Possible Sex and the City usage.)

facebook stress

Stress brought on by your facebook friends posting comments on their wall which have no intent other than to cause you to worry, wonder, or otherwise stress out about the full story. Usually the poster has no intention to clarify or provide additional context, thereby increasing the stress caused.

My cousin posted a comment that said, "Just when I was beginning to trust again, I get let down." It caused major Facebook stress.
