Office-speak

I work in a hospital. Over the years, I have noticed the Human Resources director expresses himself using the same old, tired phrases. Then my boss started using them! Such as, it is what it is, instead of giving me an answer to my question. Instead of saying "I talked to so and so, it is ALWAYS, "I touched base". "Reach out" is just texting somebody. The worst is " I shared that with so and so". I feel like I should say, Thanks for Sharing!

Please talk to me normally, not in office-speak!

Officer Quack

Officer Quack is a pretty lit youtube channel created by a pewdipie war general. Constantly promoting his channel and telling people to help out in the war. He is a hero at least.

John is an office dweller and has no idea what is happening in his own building because he never leaves his office.

Generic term justifying terrible-tasting coffee. Common flavor characteristics include: Burnt, Diluted, Stale, Muddy-water etc.

"Who put Bertha in charge of making the coffee in the morning? It tastes like swamp water."
"What do you expect? It's just Office Coffee."

Office Feeder

A colleague, usually overweight, who brings in unhealthy, sugary food to the office for others to enjoy. Psychologists believe this is done because the gift of giving to others eases the person's guilt of eating in conflict with his or her own beliefs from a health standpoint.

Because DeShaun brought donuts into the office AGAIN, he is an office feeder.

DeShaun: in an email: "Donuts are at my desk"
Jimbo: "Yo man, I'm trying to lose weight. Why you gotta be an office feeder."
