Angles and Dangles

"Angles and Dangles" is a submariners' term for a critical exercise that usually takes place right after a nuclear submarine leaves on a patrol. Once in deep water, the sub dives deep and then comes back up, both at a steep angle. Anything that is not properly secured will fall down, making some noise. These are known as dangles, and they must be corrected before a sub is fully rigged for silent running. Basically, you dive deep, come up steep, and listen to the result. In no way should this exercise be considered as "showing off" and is not usually something experienced bye the eyes of the public.

Danger Manger

A nativity set in which several heroic action figures, such as GI Joe or Transformers, have been arranged and posed in humorous ways among the traditional Christian figures. Usually perpetrated by a mischievous child on Christmas morning after having opened his presents, to "try out" his new toys.

"Billy, are you responsible for this Danger Manger? It's very creative, son ... but I don't think it's appropriate to have Destro threatening to gut baby Jesus with his sword. And good heavens, what's Baroness doing with Balthazar?"

Danger Bex

(noun) A scamp-like person prone to falling over in a dozy fashion. Most noticeable traits include landing in a star shape on the floor or falling into Christmas trees. Also associated with midget like features, however lack of height is made up for in danger. A descendent of Dangerous Bob.

A drink you decide to consume that is an unattended, dubious-looking pint of beer or other beverage that belongs to an unknown 3rd party.
