Legend of Pentadromos

A local legend originating from Kaymakli, in Nicosia, Cyprus, stipulating that modern civilization began from there and was subsequently spread from five local sages, explaining the meaning of the road name Pentadromos, which litally means 'five streets'.

Come here now and listen to the legend of Pentadromos, the five sages marched onward, one towards Eurasia, the other to Africa, the next to Australia, another to the Americans. The last marched on to Antartica, but must have gotten lost in the way.
