Deramsis is a rare Near Eastern surname derived from the earlier form Deramses, meaning “of the house or lineage of Ramses.” The name is traditionally associated not with Ramses II personally, but with a Ramses-identified family or household connected to elite or priestly circles in late ancient Egypt.
