White Dormancy

White Dormancy is a phenomenon where when there is peace in a society of Caucasian people, they “settle down”. All they want to do is live peacefully without conflict. After a while, the period ends when the Caucasians cannot ignore the issues that go beyond their communities, and they will do something about it

Example: the Europeans that settled in what is now New England put themselves through the Revolution, because they would not stand for the unreasonable taxes and laws England was forcing upon them. After the war ended and the people were content, they settled in a period of White Dormancy.
