To dance. Short for 'footwork', twerking was originally a specific form of dancing popular in Chicago. Twerking was based on the uprock steps in breakdancing, but much faster and without any other accompanying breakdance moves.

She was twerkin' on the dancefloor.

An action sometimes influenced by the act of maneating. Boys are led on, and made to look like fools. The process only lasts about a month. If torkering is done correctly, the boys come back for more.

We torkered him with phone calls and texts last december, and he came back for more this august.
