When you realize your BFF has called and texted several times during the night to make sure you made it home safely from your date the night before. And you have to make that call of shame to let them know you spent the night and that you are sorry you worried them.

People were so mother-shaming toward Sarah by telling her that she wouldn't be able to be a mother since she was a teenager, single, and poor, that she felt pressured into an abortion and later had PTSD from it.

Walker of Shame

Walk of Shame in a nursing home, where the visitor uses a walker to get back to their own room after hooking up in another resident's room. They may or may not remember if it was a one nighter or not.

Nurse 1: Blanch wasn't in her room this morning.
Nurse 2: last night she was visiting Norman in his room.
Nurse 1: oh- here she comes now, doing the Walker of Shame back to her room.
Nurse 2: look at that smile! Maybe I should sign up for Norm's sponge bath!
