When you start a converstation on one topic and end up a completely different topic. At some point you realized it and try to backtrack to the orginal topic.
Common amongst drunk friends and often not noticed. Confusing to anyone that walks up in the middle of the conservation.

BP : "yeah you don't never know what you will find in a bar bathroom"
AM: "wtf are we talking about? topic creep!"
