vb: 1.the act of inviting people to be your "friend", in online services like MySpace & BlackPlanet. just to increse your "friends list" at these type of web sites.
2.trying to fill your friends list fast by inviting any type of person.
3.what someone/personA, who is found by an person/personB from thier past, thinks when B invites them to be thire friend. however the two people did't really communicate with one another.

friend chameleon 

-A very unreliable friend who flakes at a moments notice, never answers calls, and "blends in" to a group of friends only when it fits his/her needs.

-Acts a different way around each group of friends.

-I haven't seen Joey in like 6 months, and he wont call me back!
-I know! He only hangs out with us when he has absolutely nothing else to do. He's such a friend chameleon.

Safety Friend 

A friend who will always be there when everyone else fails. Most of the time not considered a desirable position to be in. Side effects of being a safety friend include being left behind as your friends make new friends and leave, only being called upon when a friend needs to wine or complain, and might also include a life without anyone to trust or keep close.

Best Friend 

A best friend is like companion, your life, your world, your everything. Best friends are the people who stay up together 'til 4 in the moring just talking, even though you knwo you have to get up at 8 the next morning. They are there for you no matter what happens. They love you for who you are, even when you aren't very lovable. They don't care, if you have other friends because they know you will never forget them. You know youu can always count on them to be there when you need them. They will tell you the things, you don't want to know just because you deserve to know. But then, when you need to cry about that truth, they are there. You might as well live at your house because, they are always there. After a while your parents, mr and mrs, become mom and dad to them. You can never find anyone just like your best friend. They are unique and to you, they seem flawless.
