When you're on sem break and you have no other life purposes than fulfilling your academic needs, so you just stay home and rot instead. E.g. watch movies and eat snacks all day

Susan and Nicole are both on sem break.

Susan: Hey what's up, it's been quite awhile since we went out after finals, you still rotting now?

Nicole: Duh, you?

Susan: Same.

Bed rotting

My favorite hobby, real bed rotting when you lay in bed and rot in your depression, sometimes on your phone, watching tv, or my personal favorite combo, listening to music and staring at the ceiling reflecting on your thoughts. Bed rotting goes on hour hours to weeks usually.

Person: What have you been up to?
Me: oh you know the usual just bed rotting 🎀
