The most majestic thing to exist. They are calm, happy, and don't usually move. They make great pets and/or friends. They are good to hug when you're sad.

I don't have many friends, so I look forward to seeing my Friend Potato.

Friend Poaching

When one friend befriends another through your introduction, soon putting more effort into that person than you do, simultaneously making you seem less desirable and devaluing both your original friendships. This can happen consciously or unconsciously. Notably, one does not tend to ever make any new friends for themselves through the friend poacher.

I used to be close with Guy until I introduced him to Buddy, who started inviting him out all the time; I think Buddy is friend poaching, especially considering I've never met any good friends through him.

Friend Custody

When a couple breaks up, one person gets to keep the mutual friends while the other must find new ones because being around each other would be too awkward. The person who keeps the friends is said to be granted Friend Custody.

Bob: Why don't you come out with us tonight?

Phil: Because when Jane and I broke up, she got Friend Custody.

A term expressing a platonic relationship between adult males. The original use refers to the mythical king Gilgamesh, and his non-sexual friendship with the character Enkidu.

Montgomedy Sweelard is off traveling with Radrigo on some grand, manly adventure. Joe is a true Friend of Gilgamesh, and thus undoubtedly heterosexual.

When two friends love eachother very much, they decide to have children together. This can either happen by sexual intercourse or adoption depending on the preference and/or sex of the two friends involved.

Friend Cougar

Someone who has few friends his/her own age and prefers to spend time with younger people. This is most common in highschool when a senior/junior is frequently befriending underclassmen.

Hey Chuck! My friend is throwing a party this friday, you should come!

No, Mitch I dont want to go to an 8th Grade party. Your a senior, stop being a friend cougar.
