Goober Beaters

Large, husky hands(Usually seen on and associated with manly, hard working men) that theoretically could be used to beat up goobers/goobs, a term that sometimes denotes a dorky and not very physically imposing guy. Also see, sausage fingers. In addition, people with goober beaters also often have thick wrists and forearms and just overall large proportions.

A fooshy goober is a term of endearment used for an amazing friend. It’s mostly used on someone goofy, funny, and an all around great person. If you are called a fooshy goober it may sound like a mean name but trust me it means you’re goofy nice and a great person. It can also be used if someone screws up in a funny way.

Person 1: god i Love Olivia and hailey SO much they’re so goofy and nice.
Person 2: yeah, they’re such fooshy goobers!
When used as an “insult”

Goober

Used as a term for someone who is young, naive, oblivious, childish, or doesn't quite understand status quo. Has similar connotations to Nerd, Geek, Weirdo, Spaz, etc. But is often used to describe High School Freshmen or younger siblings. For example, Spongebob Squarepants would be considered a Goober as well as anyone that acts similar.

"Can I play with you and your friends, big brother?"
