The monthly ritual that everyone takes part in. Im refering to the hygenic applications like, washing your hair that one extra time, brushing your teeth extra long, flossing til the cows come home, trimming your nails, plucking those unwanted hairs.. the extra long shower.. or bath.. to get super clean squeecky.. just because..

Dad - "Wheres all the hot water?"
Me - "Oh sorry, I was doing a tuneup"
or
Will - "Dude, before you go to see that chick, you should do a tuneup.."
Me - "Good call man."

synonymous with Idiot. Nowadays most car places which call themselves Tuners (and not raceshops) are usually run by idiots who don't know anything about car performance and setup.

That's why nowadays the word "Tuner" is used instead of "Idiot" a lot
