Fall River North, New New Bedford, Portugal of the Americas, Brockton's Red-Headed Stepchild. These are all terms that have been used to describe this small podunk town south of Boston. Stoughton aspires to achieve the greatness enjoyed by such cities as Quincy, Worcester and Lynn. In the 1970s and 80s Stoughton was the type of place where long-haired teenagers wore t-shirts emblazoned with the names of heavy metal bands, but sadly has become a haven for wannabe thugs who's only regret in life is that they're not popping caps in peoples' asses in places like Dorchester or Roxbury: Real towns where success in life means that your welfare check arrived in time for the Nattie Ice sale at the local package store. With such famous former residents as Mary Baker Eddy and David Cohen Stoughton is sometimes the focus of statewide news but rarely sees fame on a national level. The nicer parts of Stoughton, mainly the areas in the vicinity of Plain Street and Bay Road, are often seen as extensions of the town's wealthier neighbors Easton and Sharon. It is very easy (and advisable) when in these areas to sometimes forget that you are even in Stoughton at all.

Sharon, Massachusetts

A town in Massachusetts with a great school system and nice people. The best teacher in the school system is a middle school teacher named Esme Sammons.

Townsend, Massachusetts

A small middle class bedroom community located in the north/central section of Massachusetts on the New Hampshire/Massachusetts border. The town's public school system and athletic programs are remarkably mediocre. So, many families from Townsend with money or ambition send their children to one of the many local private schools (St. Bernards, Bishop Guertin, Cushing Academy, Groton School, Lawrence Academy) rather than Townsend's public high school, North Middlesex Regional. Most kids who do end up attending North Middlesex Regioanl are rednecks or stoners who love to smoke blunts and Marlboro Lights, drink Budweiser (probably bought at State Line in NH), use racial stereotypes, and suck at sports. Other than high school football games and substance abuse, Townsend has nothing to do. If you want to do anything else you have to travel to a surrounding community (Fitchburg, Pepperell, Groton, Leominster, Nashua, Lowell). These factors result in a serious lack of civic pride in Townsend.

The demographics of Townsend are very homogeneous as most of the town's population is comprised of white christians.

The town historically votes Republican.

I used to live in Townsend, Massachusetts. Here's an example of a conversation I might have heard in high school...

Townsend Kid 1: Dude I heard there's a kegger in

Timberlee Park.
Townsend Kid 2: Yeah, let's go pick up weed in Pepperell, rip a few bowls, park at the high school, and then head over.
Townsend Kid 1: I hope only white kids are there.
Townsend Kid 2: Of course!

Massapequa.. i mean it's fun sometimes but you can't forget. You have the assholes, jerks, bitches, sluts, BULLYS. It's horrible. That group that everyone calls "popular" no one cares about them anymore in highschool but they still think they're the shit, so they bully people and talk shit, and embarrass you and anything to make your life hell if you annoy them. Even if they have no idea who you are.. The girls are the worst, there is 80% of girls who are pure BITCH, stuck up & nasty. a fuckin bully too.. Most of the pequa girls are all sluts, literally. Biggest slut town. The guys, again the ones who think they're the "shit" are the assholes. When the stare you down, and they talk shit, bully you, just do stupid shit. Yea, that's pequa alright. I live here and I hate it. I'm pretty up there but still it sucks. OH AND half of pequa is all talk, specially the class of 2015. they won't do shit to you. but yea, this town sucks...

Andover Massachusetts

The most affluent suburb north of Boston. Many of of the residents work in the city grossing a average income of $200,000. A popular sought after suburban town gives residents a beautiful downtown area, choice of renown private schools and neighborhoods filled with new construction brick colonials used for filming hollywood movies. With high property taxes and median home values, Andover has become one of the most elite suburbs of Massachusetts.
