The elementary school practice of, rather than "cutting" (or skipping) someone in line, taking the spot behind him, thereby allowing you to save time in the line while not inconveniencing the person already in line. However, this has the side effect of

Similar to a bowl cut but utilising a cup instead. Usually done to someone who has passed out after drinking too much. Considered cruel in many cultures. Illegal in nine different countries.

A bruise with a cut on top of it. It may or may not bleed. This particular injury is usually associated with core sports activity.
