Raffles Girls' School ( Secondary )

RGS is an amazing school with tons of greenery and in the classrooms, the table and chairs have wheels ! Although RGS may seem competitive, its environment is actually really chill considering from my experience as an RGS student. RGS is tied w NYGH in my opinion for the top girls school in singapore . NYGH is more chinese as it is a chinese school but if you are looking for an elite, english school, RGS is for you! the teachers are encouraging and nice but they expect quite alot from you so the RGS environment can be stressful. Homework is alot but with gd time management , homework can be finished by 9pm. CCA is alot more fun in RGS , and the seniors are amazing to a whole another level. however, pls know that there are many many many little tests and examinations which will be graded. Overall RGS is an elite school where u make amazing frens tho they can be abit more sensitive and you will have a fun fufilling time here !

Raffles Girls' School

The best girls' school in Singapore, better than NYGH despite the fact that it was founded by a "pirate". The people there are very funny and crazy but nice.

Person 1: You are going to Raffles Girls' School?
Person 2: Yes
Person 1: I heard they are not as good as RI
Person 2: At least we are better than NYGH and we have more fun than RI boys.

Raffles Institution

Raffles Institution is supposedly the best school in Singapore, but the truth is that it is no different from the other schools on the island at all, if not worse in terms of student character and maturity. Most, if not all, of the students there treat other people as if they do not exist and walk with their noses in the air. They also love vandalising public property, and abusing the school's cats. However, nothing warms their cold and undead hearts more than torturing their teachers with loud nonsensical chants, lesson disruptions and disobeying them on purpose, which is the best evidence of how high their emotional intelligence (EQ) level is.

Max: Wow, I heard that you got into RI (the abbreviation for Raffles Institution), you must be really smart!
Jack: That's not true, also you should be glad that you're not in this hellhole of a school!
