A over-rated sandbox game made by Notch that only got its fame from the talentless Yogscast. Minecraft is mainly only played so people can make their own unoriginal piece of shit Minecraft based YouTube channel. It is given much more credit than it deserves, and has to put unfunny references everywhere. Its fanbase consists of 8-12 year old kids, and wannabe YouTubers.

An over-rated indie game that is made for kids/casual gamers.

Minecraft

A game that when was first released was played by many. Those people cherished the game and used it as an outlet for their creativity. Sadly around 2014 it became toxic. With hordes of prepubescent children storming the game and internet. They filled up YouTube with "Let's Play" videos, music parodies and real life parodies. If anyone found out that you played Minecraft you would be labeled Cringe. Many Youtubers were able to profit off these children with thousands of episodes of a survival playthrough, hundreds of survival games episodes, and countless mod reviews. Around 2017 minecraft wasn't as toxic but still labelled as cringe. In 2017 a new game was on the rise known as PUBG. This new Battle Royale game attracted many of players and pretty the only thing streaming on Twitch. Due to its fame, game studio Epic Games decided to jump on the hype. They put a battle royale mode into their wave defense game they had been developing since 2011,Fortnite. Fortnite quickly became popular, it only took until March 2018 to be labeled toxic and cringe. Soon everybody that had praised this game were taking a massive shit on it just like they had done to Minecraft so many years ago. Despite the hate many creators continued play and the game continued to go.Since then Minecraft has been able to surpass Fortnite in players and many popular Youtubers have started started uploading videos of themselves playing Minecraft and really seem like they enjoy it.
