Love is not a feeling. Feelings can be a part of love and makes it enjoyable, but love is only real when treated as something you do, not as something you feel. It's an action chosen. "I love you". It is the action word, the verb. It describes what you are choosing to do. - It is a commitment to be there and do for someone even when it is undeserved. It is described in the original wedding vows in The Book of Common Prayer from 1549. Groom: I,____, take thee,_____, to be my lawful wedded Wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part, according to God's holy ordinance; and thereto I plight thee my troth. - True love is not walked away from when it gets tough. It is committed to for a lifetime. Through a person's worse, through financial problems, through sickness. It doesn't matter. - Love without commitment is lust. Lust is selfish, it is me-based. It seeks it's OWN desires over the needs of another. It goes away when the other person is not doing exactly what feels good to or for you. There is no follow-through, no staying power with lust because it is feelings-based. This means when our feelings change, lust goes away. The word love is severely misused and overused in society since the Sexual Revolution when they stopped education in the character necessary to sustain love for another person.

The real things represented by this word are security, shelter from the terror of loneliness, possession, jealousy, fulfilment of childhood dreams, money, greed, diversion of attention from oneself.

Get the lovemug. So, what is Love? It's funny, I used to think it was liking someone just a little more than a friend. But lately I've been seeing it differently. Now I think Love is when you find that one thing you really care about. That one special person that means more to you than anything else in the world. The person that you would jump infront of a bullet for, the person whos on your mind when you wake up and go to sleep, the person who you constantly want to be with and without them you are incomplete, the person who can make you smile-no matter what, the person you can tell anything you want to because you know that they will accept you for who you are, the person you want to always be happy, the person you never want to loose, the person you care about so much, its crazy. And when you find that person, you fight for them. You risk it all, you put them in front of everything, your life, all of it. And maybe the stuff you do to help them isn't so clean. But You know what? It doesn't matter. Because in your heart you know, that the juice is worth the squeeze.

Get the lovemug. It's hard to exactly define but is a wonderful feeling. It could make you feel like you could never be brought down, or make you feel so horrible that you want to just kill yourself. It is went you can't stop thinking about someone; when you never want to leave them. Love is when all you do is wonder about what they're doing and if they're thinking about you. It is also when you're skin is on fire when they touch you. It's a wonderful think to experience, and a wonderful feeling to express.
