Get the cheerleading mug.An activity that can be as challenging or more challenging than most sports. A mix of aerobics, gymnastics, and dance. Takes alot of technique and muscele strength. When cheering for other sports, most people consider it an activity, but during competitions-it is 100% a sport. No cheerleader in a good program can have bad grades. Cheerleaders involved in any innapropriate behavior can be kicked off of thier team.
"Cheerleading isn't even a sport!"
"Then would you like to tell me why you don't come out of practice in sweat with bruises from catching and sore arms?"

Get the Cheerleading mug.Cheerleading IS A SPORT. If you think otherwise then i would like to see you try it. There is nothing anyother athlete can do that a cheerleader cannot. It is not easy. It takes alot of practice, time and patience to really good at cheerleading. And for those who think cheerleaders are stupid...are WRONG! So people need to stop paying attention to all the sterotypes of cheerleader because you know nothing. Im a cheerleading and i understand if out chants over and over again may become annoying but you should pay attention to the other athletic things we do. Stunting is not easy. It takes alot of time to hit a stunt and the bases have to be strong enough to lift a girl over their head as well as throw them high in the air. Flying isnt easy either. Its very dangerous. Gymnastics is a sport and cheerleaders are gymnicst. We do crazt amazing flips and trust me it is not easy to do. Cheerleaders may not score point on a feild or a court but we score points on a map. So for everyone who thinks it is not a sport, i would like to see you try it because a garrente you will be hurting just after 5 minutes of practice.

Get the Cheerleading mug.cheerleading is not only a SPORT, its a hard one. 2 mins and 30 secs is not very much, but the practice that goes into that 2 mins 30 secs is unreal. if you think cheerleaders are slutty, think again. i mean, it depends on the person, but not many cheerleaders are in it to look slutty, and if they are, they never last. same with people who only do it for the guys. school cheer maybe, but all star cheer is unbelieveably hard. and most of the people who complain about cheerleading are talking about school cheerleading. all star works 10x harder than alot of sports. and it takes so much more than just looking good. cheerleaders have to not only memorize their whole routine, but have to be able to perform it. they have to be able to tumble, stunt, dance, jump, and and they have to make it look amazingly good. even if they feel like screaming in pain, they have to look like theyre having the most fun theyve ever had, or they can lose points. and the uniforms have to show most of the body, if theyre not the judges cant tell if theyr doing the right body tecnique. and flyers bases have to be able to have a irm grip on them or they could be seriously injured. do you expect us to wear pants or something?? and gymnasts, ice skaters, andwrestlers all wear lesss than us and ive never seen them be called a slut.
in cheerleading we may not make touchdowns, baskets, or homeruns, but that doesnt mean we cant CHANGE THE SCORE

Get the cheerleading mug.Allstar Cheerleading is a very hard sport that requires a lot of effort, time, money, and commitment. We really work hard to get where we are and if youre saying this isnt a sport, you OBVIOUSLY have never done allstar cheerleading before. I can understand that you may think taht cheerleading is rahrah whooooo go team. NOO. we work very hard doing stunts, tumbling (no not cartwheels)which can be anything from a back handspring to a double full. Yeah umm do you even know what that is?didnt think so. HAH funny thing is that people judge it and dont even really know what its about.losers.so the next time you say cheerleading isnt a sport, think again fucking losers

Get the cheerleading mug.An extra curricular activity that involves faking smiles and flashing one's crotch at small children, for men it's what they try out for shortly after having their balls removed.
Mike - Hey did you hear that Becky got arrested for flashing her crotch at some 12 year old boy?
Stan - Yeah man she should've just tried out for cheerleading , she would've gotten away with it

Get the Cheerleading mug.an aesthetic competition that cannot be classified as a sport not due to a lack of difficulty (since jumping around, holding up people who weigh 80 lbs when you weigh 80 lbs, and yelling really loudly are somewhat to very difficult), but because an integer score is not awarded for certain activities (e.g. football - a touchdown is 6 points, baseball - a run is 1 point, etc.)
Cheerleading and figure skating are difficult, but not sports. This is not intended to demean either of these activities, but to place necessary qualifications on certain words.
