Rags

The name comes from a poorly documented 30s Indian comic strip about a mischievous boy who pranks others. Often in conjunction with the name, the title "the Fags" is used in the thirties context, referring to the cigarettes Rags is supposed to resemble.

Raggie

A term commonly used to describe the resident of Winsted, CT in the Northwest part of the state. A raggie refers to a person who can often be mistaken as a smelly homeless person; they wear the same clothes just about every day, they wear British Knights and BUM sweatshirts. They are poor and their parents are on welfare; they have a large raggie family tree. They are often the brunt of jokes; it is not good to be known as a raggie.

I can't shop at IGA on Main St., that is where all of the raggies go.

A word used to describe anything bad. Refers to 'raghead' ie being a smelly arab with a rag on yo head. Used in the same way as 'gay'.

The act of displaying an inappropriate amount of frustration and anger toward others while out shopping, often resulting in violence, and especially in the days preceding December 25.

Person 1: "That lady just ran over my foot with her cart when I was reaching for the last copy of Toy Story 3 on the shelf."

Person 2: "Yeah bro, that's pretty messed up. It's dangerous getting in the way of rageshopping women!"
