COB'bed

COBbing is a term that my bosses used a lot when I worked for the US Army. COBbing is basically when you get 'clobbered' (= COB'bed) with a must-do task right at close-of-business (COB), and it's especially bad when done on Friday.

My apologies, gents. I got COB'bed by my boss, so I have a bunch of work to do this evening and won't be able to make it.
