Someone who is being unpleasant, miserable or un- cooperate on christmas or during the christmas season

'Oh come on dont be such a scrooge'

'Have some christmas spirit'

'Dont be so miserable'
'Christmas is the worst holiday in the year'
'You're scrooging it up'

If a person is miserable throughout christmas with no valid reason they are 'Srooging it up'

up tan

The tanning of the underside of the nose, as usually achieved through artificial means such as a spray from a tanning salon. An up tan implies that one would have to be upside down in the sun in order to tan that part of the body, and is therefore a giveaway that the tan is artificial.

She must have gone to a salon, check out her up tan.
