To be over-protective or smoothering of another individual. A mumsey person will not stop to think how mumsey they are - indeed, they will not see how embarrassing or annoying it can be.

To wrap a U-shaped public toilet seat with toilet paper when toilet seat covers are unavailable. An alternative to laying toilet paper on the seat prior to taking a crap, with the added benefit of not sticking to your ass when you get up.

Yeah, I had to take a crap in the train station today. The seat was gross, but I gave it the mummy before I sat down.
