Crisis

An overused word. Not everything that is called a crisis really is. The coronavirus is not the bubonic plague, yet the media treats it as the same kind of thing so that everybody will panic and lose their minds.

Not everybody needed support the way thee bubbly girl did, after all, not everybody lived their life like it was a crisis, or tried to make everyone else's life a crisis, or add another setback to their life for them to overcome.

The feeling and du sequent thoughts that arise when you lie awake in the middle of night. They always end in thinking that tomorrow when you wake up you will change your way of life. Basically like a New Years Resolution but it’s created by lack of sleep, not alcohol.

Real life example (for context I work at a restaurant)
Me: "We are out of napkins, the silverware is empty, and a tiny child is running around in the buffet area with no parent to be found. I am having a mid-shift crisis right now."
