Men are trash

A phrase with an unknown etymology and has yet to be coined by any official movement. In the correct context, feminist use this phrase to bring attention to the oppression of women and highly probable crime committed against women. A misandrist would use this phrase as a way to hate on men.

It is highly looked down upon to say "not all men" because of the connotation that you are defending what men have done. Especially that you feel like you have to. If need-be, compare it to BLM. It doesn't mean that all lives don't matter, but that black lives are more at risk. Therefore, saying ALM or "not all men" is seen as oppressive.

Feminist 1: I have SA trauma and my boyfriend triggered it, but he said it was my fault.
