A desperate need to drink, or a drink itself which is needed usually after getting ridiculously stoned or mashed off marijuana.

Derives from the word 'Cotton' as in 'Cotton Mouth' which is when the tongue actually begins to turn a dull white because of dehydration.

Sottone

Italian word used to define someone very submissive, that will give up anything for someone or something.
A sottone (m) or sottona (f), will not maintain their standards in order not to lose someone they love or something, like a job for example.

These people are so afraid of being rejected or abandoned that they will accept very low treatments.

His girlfriend is cheating on him all the time and he is still with her, a proper sottone
Don't be a sottona like her, they are underpaying her and making her work extra hours and she hasn't complained once

The world is full of sottoni, everyone accepting very bad working conditions just because they are afraid
